Floating
Suspended in midair
Hanging on time,
With nothing to pull it down to earth –
Not even gravity.
 
Light and delicate as a feather,
Yet a cage
Trying to imprison
The impossible.
 
Uniquely woven
With strands as fine as silk
Made by a spider,
Setting his beautiful death trap.
 
A thief –
Stealing not what belongs to it
Finds repentance,
And sends it back
Shimmering.
